Review: Solid build, works well and a bright UV light - Looks and works great so far. Had some fun scouring the house for dirt and “bodily fluids” hahaha. It did not really detect anything in the bathroom or anywhere else so not sure how accurate that claim is. I’m looking forward to trying it at curing some UV glue that I purchased that only will cure/bond with sunlight or UV light. It did make some funky glow on a few little ornaments that I have that are made of uranium glass which was pretty cool. I’ll have to take it to the markets with me next time I go so I can find genuine glass products easily. I did get a little bit of a headache after half an hour walking around with the torch in the near darkness, but that was explained in the comments from other people’s so maybe – don’t do that! 🤣. Yes, it is made of metal. **Q: Has anyone use this to check for counterfeit money?** A: It does not detect cat urine, the reason I purchased it, so, in my opinion, doubt it will detect bogus money **Q: does this work with 1.2v nimh batteries?** A: AAA is a battery size and not an indicative of the voltage. NiMh batteries deliver only 1.2V as opposed to 1.5V not rechargeable batteries so the total voltage from 3 would be 3.6V instead of 4.5V. Simply turn the light off & switch the pen on & it shows any route the rodent takes. Thankfully we haven’t seen anything. It’s quite strong & very small which easily fits in your pocket.
