This book is a great introduction to one of the most dynamic and interesting Presidents this country has had. We are now on the 45th President in Office. Most are not memorable. Most rarely have left a truly lasting impact on this nation. Teddy is one that stands out from the few memorable Presidents. His policies, his vigor, his outlook on life. "The only man who never makes a mistake is the man who never does anything." -TR This is a man that overcame asthma, born to wealth but held the common man, the blue collar worker with high regard and would get his hands dirty working along side such. This is a man that set up the National Park Service and established the National Park system. Conservationist (though it had a slightly different meaning then). A man that was self taught on many subjects. Wrote peer reviewed books on scientific topics and regarded by experts on that topic. Supported the military and international relations. Astute thinker and very active physically.
