Connect the white from the line and the motor together. There is no power in the white wires. Since the unit is rated for 240v, this is the only way to make the connection. **Q: Is thisa dpdt relay? i am wired 220v and need both legs switched, can not have a hot leg in the motor and stay code compliant.** A: I’m using it as a switch for lighting connected to a solar array. Both pos and neg connect to the controller however I’m not sure if its just a pass-through on one leg. **Q: The off/on switch on the side is marked "f n". what does that mean, in what language?? i know that it works as an off/on switch.** A: The only purpose of the F / N slider is to put the remote control into programming mode.
