These are designed specifically for the Warhammer figure bases. For 1/35 I use locking forceps clamped around the figure’s foot or ankle. The other option is a universal work holder, also on Amazon, which can be either handheld or bench mounted. A series of holes and pegs allow for irregular shapes to be clamped securely. **Q: Will this design still hold square bases like the previous version did?** A: I have used it to hold rectangular bases. But it was only the corners of the clamp that were holding it and could move side to side with some pressure on it. Thanks :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value *by J***E on 28 July 2026* Very handy tool at a great price ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the Job, But Better Options Exist *by C***P on 14 August 2026* This painting handle does exactly what it’s designed to do and is a handy addition to a miniature painting setup. It’s particularly well suited to standard-sized bases, but it isn’t as practical for larger models such as Dreadnoughts. The build quality is fairly standard. I don’t think it’s something that would necessarily last for years of heavy use, but at the same time, I wouldn’t expect it to break within a few weeks either. It’s not great, but it’s certainly not terrible. Personally, I’d put the extra few pounds towards a Golden Maple painting handle instead.
