It fits the iPhone 12 mini perfectly while not conflicting with the edges of two cases I have tried it with. The rounded edges are good for two reasons: 1) your finger does not catch on the edge when swiping; 2) the rounded edge does not catch when it is in your pocket like flat edges can, pulling up a tad to let dust underneath the edge. The matte finish is great too. It is a very fine matte finish so the screen does not blur out or get sparkles like more course finishes. It will look a bit of the matte effect from oil on fingers and such, so one needs to wipe it down like any screen. It did seem like the matte finish was not a matte after several months of heavy use, which seams a reasonable durability to me. Application is easy. As with any screen protector, I have discovered that after cleaning the phone screen it helps to: 1) use a fine microfiber cloth for eyeglasses on the phone screen, and 2) spray a VERY fine mist of 90% isopropyl alcohol on the phone screen itself and leave it wet when applying the protector and then use a credit card wrapped with a microfiber cloth as a squeegee. This allows one to reposition the protector by sliding it precisely if needed AND any remaining dust particles tend to be carried by the alcohol to the edge and off the screen when squeegeed. The alcohol evaporates after a few minutes. otherwise, if you try to lift the protector after application to get a few dust motes out, it is easy to mess up the thin and rounded edge or bend it such that it will not reapply flat and seamless. Trust me...I messed one up doing just that. Only one complaint: two to three protectors should be included in the box. I would pay extra for that as an option at the least. Saves packaging waste, gives you an immediate backup when needed down the road OR if you mess up the application of one screen. See above. Review: Great product, easy process, worth the price - This is my second screen protector. I initially bought a more expensive one, but wound up with a few air bubbles I could not get rid of. To be fair, it was probably user error--probably didn't clean all the dust out. Anyways, decided to redo it but didn't want to spend a lot of money so opted for Motcha because it was cheaper. Glad I did. Product is the same exact quality as the more expensive brands and the installation process was super simple and the protector went on perfectly without any dust or air bubbles. No interference with the screen and it looks and feels real smooth. If you're looking for a first screen protector for your 12 mini, give this one a go. Worst comes to worst, if it does break, they have a lifetime warranty so you can get it replaced or decide afterwards to get a more expensive one, but I doubt you'll need to--this one is great! ## Features - Anti-Glare: The matte finish tempered glass has no screen glare, even in bright sunlight, providing easy reading outdoor or under light. - Smooth Touch: The perfect matte surface has a silk-like touch feeling, magically resists dirt, sweat and annoying fingerprints, very little frictional resistance even for hand sweating. - Tempered Glass: Crafted with 9H hardness, protect your iPhone 12 mini screen from scratches, daily wear and drops. - Anti-Fingerprint: Special matte finish prevents fingerprints from being visible on the screen. - Compatible: Compatible with Apple iPhone 12 mini 5.4-inch(2020) - Smooth as Silk ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08LV43MSG | | Best Sellers Rank | #30,453 in Cell Phones & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Cell Phones & Accessories ) #1,970 in Cell Phone Screen Protectors | | Brand | Mothca | | Brand Name | Mothca | | Clarity | 9 | | Color | Transparent | | Compatible Cellular Phone Models | Apple iPhone 12 mini | | Compatible Devices | Apple iPhone 12 mini | | Compatible Phone Models | Apple iPhone 12 mini | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,761 Reviews | | Finish Type | Matte | | Included Components | Wet Wipe | | Item Dimensions L x W | 5"L x 2.5"W | | Item Hardness | 9H | | Manufacturer | Mothca | | Material | Tempered Glass | | Model Name | iPhone 12 | | Model Number | iPhone 12 mini - 5.4 inch | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 12mini | | Product Dimensions | 5"L x 2.5"W | | Screen Size | 5.4 inches | | Screen Surface Description | Matte | | Special Features | Anti-Fingerprint | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Repellent | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Mothca - **Compatible Devices:** Apple iPhone 12 mini - **Compatible Phone Models:** Apple iPhone 12 mini - **Finish Type:** Matte - **Item Hardness:** 9H - **Material:** Tempered Glass - **Product Dimensions:** 5"L x 2.5"W - **Special Feature:** Anti-Fingerprint - **Unit Count:** 1 Count - **Water Resistance Level:** Water Repellent ## Images ![Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61BeeBF24LL.jpg) ![Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71tVUMbutHL.jpg) ![Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fkA4fKASL.jpg) ![Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71WVkjen-jL.jpg) ![Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81uXRKRY3vL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### āāāāā Perfect fit and matte finish is great. worth the bit extra. *by A***N on August 9, 2021* This is the best glass screen protector I have had to date. It was easy to install and fits great. I have bought this same style Mothca matte screen protector in the past for other phones and I'll never buy another brand. Not only is this a great value, but they're pretty durable and fingerprint resistant. Probably went through 3 or 4 of these for my last iPhone (I tend to drop my phone a lot) so even though it's a pretty tough screen protector, eventually my clumsiness will result in a crack to the screen protector, but never the actual screen which is just a testament to this product's usefulness. I have recommended this brand to many people over the years and I don't give out recommendations willy-nilly. Each screen protector comes with screen wipes to prep the screen and dust remover stickers. Comes in a pretty basic, lightweight box, no extra plastic or wasteful materials, which I also appreciate. Don't go and spend 20 bucks when you can get a great deal for so much less! I'd give it 6 stars if I could! ## Frequently Bought Together - Mothca Matte Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 mini, Anti-Glare, 9H Hardness, Smooth Touch, Bubble Free - Apple iPhone 12 Mini Silicone Case with MagSafe - Kumquat --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - šŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** ā€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - šŸŒ **Shop Globally** ā€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - šŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** ā€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - šŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** ā€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - šŸ”’ **Secure Payments** ā€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ā **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** ā€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/242996993-matte-tempered-glass-screen-protector-for-iphone-12-mini-anti](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/242996993-matte-tempered-glass-screen-protector-for-iphone-12-mini-anti) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
