They're surprisingly hefty little things, and much bigger than I expected. Somehow I expected them to be a generic marble and they're decidedly ...more...like a shooter marble? It's been too long since those were in. About the size of one of those larger gumballs kids would get in the little coin operated machines--or imagine a USA quarter coin but...sphered and then the metal swirl over it is about the same height (so they end up being roughly 2inches tall, not counting the chain). A good size and weighty. The ring/closures seem to be pretty solidly made and closed up. Unless you're tugging on it hard or putting a lot of weight into your pull, I don't think the little ring will break or come open very easily. Comes with plenty of chain which you could snip with wire cutters, I suppose, but I'm enjoying them long for now. The amber yellow is pretty and catches the light, and the chain being darker metal (vs bright shiny silver/chrome/steel) gives it a look of lived-in antique-ness. Really pretty on a ceiling fan, which is how I'm utilizing them. I think if you want these for a table lamp, I'd double check the sizing just to make sure they're not overly large for the lamp.Very classy and classic. Would look right at home in an antique or vintage eclectic styled room.Sadly no dino-dna mosquitos in this amber-colored rock, but it's pretty neat none the less.

I installed these the same day I received them, and what a stunning detail they are! The quality is better than I thought it would be: the glass amber balls are heavier and sturdier than I expected. The brass attachments holding the glass balls are finely etched and even in color. My only regret is that I did not get them sooner!

We just love the Pull Chain Balls. Nice and heavy duty. Not cheap or tinny. Looking forward to buying more for additional fans. Came quickly.

These are very pretty and well made. Really dressed up my ceiling fan.

These pulls added a nice touch to our living room. The color is very nice. The metal is a little on the cheap side, but you have to hold them and look closely to notice. For the price, they are a nice, decorative addition.

These pills are gorgeous. Much better in person. Even for the pickiest person. Highly recommend.
