Like any sensible person you just have to be careful when handling it and remember that it will not last forever - because it is made of glass - and at some point it will break, crack or something. Let us be clear - this product is made of glass, so it can break/crack. For starters, there is the information on the box. I had an other one a while ago, different seller. Very thin glass, and yes, it broke. So I was hesitant to buy an other one online. But this one made with thick glass, good quality and looks very nice. I would recommend it.
