## Description

Fuel Injector

Review: Life saver - I had to replace a second injector on my 2009 Escape 3.0. Good thing I decided to order another one to have on hand because a second one failed this morning. Maybe I should have replaced all 6? Not sure. It is so easy to do yourself. And running with a shorted injector does not score the cylinder due to washdown nor burn the cat due to unburned fuel, so really not a big deal. But I'm going to at least buy 1 more just in case. Note that the clip breaks instantly upon me touching it. I have successfully used a zip tie through the broken clip hole and loop around injector. The zip tie catches on a knob of the injector. This worked well for the first injector I replaced, and it didn't come loose. The car has got to keep on rolling for 6 months until teens move out. It has 200k miles and is still running well! It probably needs front shocks.
Review: Worked like the original...because it IS the original Ford part - Rarely, fuel injectors fail electrically. They often get debris logged in the orifice but electrically, they never seem to fail (at least on my Honda's and Toyota's in the 'fleet'). And this was an intermittent problem with the internal wiring of the injector that would come and go causing my 3.0L V6 to become a V5 when the #4 injector decided not to INJECT that day. Fairly easy fix (if you have taken the intake manifold off to change plugs, you are 90% there.) Just remove the upper intake manifold (10 min) and then unbolt and pull the fuel rail with injectors attached, out if the lower manifold holes. One clip holds the injector at the top, remove and replace and reinstall. OEM parts are the only way to go for fuel and emissions issues. The original lasted 13 yrs so I assume the replacement will outlive me. : )

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I bought 6 and it seems as though 2 has a higher psi and is pusging out to much gas ?**
A: What is the question? You are just making a statement! Are you trying to ask if you should return them? Obviously there is a problem with consistency in performance. If you are testing in the car then perhaps you have an electronic fuel injector controller problem. Swap the #2 fuel injector to a different injector location and see if the problem follows the injector or if the "bad" injector works fine in a different location.. If the problem follows #2 injector then it is clearly a bad injector. If not then it is in the controller. If you are using a bench tester individually on each fuel injector and your TESTING IS CONSISTENT (same set-up, same battery voltage, same fuel pressure, same pulse method) then obviously, as you say your "2 is not consistent with the others" and the conclusion is to return all of them. Also, you might want to connect with a knowledgeable person to learn from. Most people today are NOT knowledgeable enough to do their own auto repair without some good coaching. This is not an appropriate forum to learn diagnostics from.

**Q: Are these injectors (part# cm5155) new or refurbished? is faster shipping available? thank you.**
A: Mine are new

**Q: Will this fit a ford fusion 2010 v6 3.0l engine?**
A: Yes it fit my 2010 v6 3.0L engine. Car is SEL model.

**Q: is this a set of 6 or only 1 ?**
A: That is for 1 only.
