I had 80% confidence that this product would work and 20% felt that I would have to return it. It was worth the risk. Well, the package arrived and I followed the instructions. Set up was a breeze. Within 15 min, it was synced to the opener and was working like a charm! A few things are different which I wish was better. They have a sliding cover which slides up and down to protect the keypad from the weather elements. It is rather stiff and not smooth. I prefer the hinge version like the original. As well, they don't have an ENTER button. But the * button serves as the Enter button. Heck, I can live with these few flaws. I am just glad this unit worked like a charm. Some mentioned the slide up vs flip is a problem. While a bit tight and you can over-open and it comes off, I prefer this to the flip as those tend to break especially in our cold Canadian winters. A little WD-40 helped the tightness and we have no problems using this remote unit.
