However, I chose to match the number of teeth per inch (TPI) and thought the Outdoor kit would be my best bet. The instructions were very detailed, and in depth. I had three possible choices in my kit that were very close to the original pull size. Due to the repair method, I was able to slip a pull onto the zipper, and try it, without going any farther. But when you can try them one at a time, there is no question when one of them works exactly as needed. The kit pieces and pulls are strong, well-made, and have nice quality finishes on them. I only needed 2 pieces out of the kit, but it was totally worth the cost to repair my jacket, instead of having to buy a new one. Take some time to select the right kit for your needs. Can I add this product to make it a dual two way zipper?** A: I tend to doubt it because the "pull" tabs are made for the zipper catch specific to that style of zipper and I don't think the zipper teeth are universal enabling either a single pull or double. I don't think you can convert over from one to the other. I might be wrong on a tent construction but I know on a winter coat you need the old single pull zipper to be totally replaced for a double pull zipper to work.
