Please make sure both machines have Ethernet ports. In the event the new machine only has USB ports then we can use Wifi as the default method of connection or consider buying a Laplink USB cable. This is the only USB cable that works with the software. Consequently, you can use an Ethernet to USB adapter on the new machine if it does not have one. Make sure to turn off Wifi on the old machine and keep it active on the new machine.
