A: Just bought 17.6 oz Hikari Wheat Germ medium pellets in August.  Package label indicates "best before 02/2019".

**Q: What is the pellet size?**
A: The package I have lists it as "medium size".  The pellets are a little less than 1/8 inch diameter.  Hope this helps.

**Q: can i use this for my turtle**
A: Depends on the age of your turtle. This is mostly to maintain shell health and to promote healthy shedding. 
Not to be used regularly as a stable food

**Q: How much protein is contain in gold hikari pellets**
A: The product has min. 32% protein.  The Hikari products are a favorite of professional Koi breeders, I have Koi in my pond 17 years old that have always been fed this product and have been very healthy.
