I unscrewed each knob/bracket and shifted each over by one screw-hole so that the bracket was nearly in the center. THIS cover expects the side knob/brackets to be centered. I once sewed a replacement with heavy duck cloth but it rotted away without UV protection after two years through winter rains. The cost of this replacement bordered on whether I would sew another cover myself or buy one correctly done. The FAST delivery cinched the deal. Installed today and fits perfectly snugly.
