Graphite for drawing comes in a range of hardnesses, for different darkness of marks. Graphite for use as a lubricant is very fine, very hard, and probably screened for impurities. Artist graphite powder is meant for drawing on paper and such, and is usually courser, medium hardness or soft, depending on the darkness desired. While lubricant certainly will make marks on paper, art supplies probably are not good as mechanical tools. **Q: Would like to know if you can use this product inside a powder measure for reloading?
