OMG this will save my sanity during WFH and Covid
I have been home for five weeks and will possibly be working from home for an indeterminant amount of time. I normally stand at my desk at work in the office, so for the past five weeks I have had all my gear strategically placed on cardboard boxes and plastic shoe boxes. Was it ergonomic? Almost. Was it comfortable? Not at all in the least.I was a wits end. I was looking at the standard desk risers and realized I can not spend upwards of $200 for something that could damage my desk (it's an antique) but it's in the home office and away from the kitchen.I did some research and found this gem.Wooooo nelly am I glad I found this. In less than five minutes from when this was delivered to my door, I have a standing desk again that is just the right height (and it's adjustable should I want to move to the kitchen or another location). Sanity saving. It fits my laptop and docking station, keyboard, mouse and 22 inch monitor. No other riser is needed to be as close to ergo as possible. Already and I am literally 10 minutes into having my desk set up I am happier. It really was easy to assemble, I didn't have to adjust the legs but it looks easy enough.I read some other reviews, where they said that the legs were oily... mine were not. Another review said that the finish marred and was easily destroyed... mine was not.Sanity and back saving goodness. I am thrilled.

Good value, one flaw with a workaround
I have to say I basically like the product, and represents good value for the money. If you want a desk stand, this will do. But, it's not a great product, and I cannot give it five stars.Pros: Short money and easy to assemble. It took me about five minutes, and I am not very good at such things.Cons: As many others have said, the materials are cheap and you could buy the parts for about five dollars at your local hardware store. More problematic to me is that it is just not tall enough. Standing on my desk, it comes up to my belly button, and it should be about 2 - 3 inches higher so I don't have to hunch. I solved the problem by buying four yoga blocks, which is a pretty ugly thing to have on your desk. But I am not sure I can recommend it for a a really tall person. I'm only about 6'0.All in all, a good but not great purchase

Stand Not-So-Steady
Honest, I really wanted to like this product. But after it arrived and I put it together and used it for a couple of days, testing it in both a home and office environment, I came to the unhappy realization that this desk didn't quite measure up to my expectations. For one thing, when I assembled it and set it up, the shiny chrome finish on the button-type adjustable legs under the flat rectangular top made it look like an oversized bathroom step stool sitting on my desk!Other than looks, my main complaint about the desk is that no matter how much I tightened the wingnuts (without breaking them) the legs still had some play in them and wobbled enough to make the desk feel a little shaky when I gently tested it for stability. My solution: I returned the desk for a refund and ordered the folding model in its place. Guess what? The folding model LOOKS BETTER, has a wider stance and feels MORE SOLID AND STABLE than the non-folding model. Go figure! But I'm happy with my decision to make the switch. And I'm happy with the results. So I'm keeping the folding desk. It's also more versatile and practical as I can fold it up nice and compact for storage or transporting it in my minivan.Bottom line: I recommend the folding version of this desk.

Easy to assemble, great height options, but a bit pricey
I already have 2 desks in my office, so modifying one for standing made better sense than buying a whole standing desk. Assembly was super easy and did not require any tools. Cost higher than it needs to be for what it is. Height adjustment options are perfect. Please, note the pic in this ad shows someone using a desktop computer, so the keyboard and the monitor have great space between them and the model's hands/arms are working at a great height/angle. I use a laptop and although I have a wireless keyboard I did have to purchase a monitor stand for the laptop so that my hands could remain low whilst the monitor was at eye level. Easy fix and now I can enjoy my standing desk. I made the mistake of purchasing a cheaper fatigue mat to stand on. Cheaper = thinner (in this case anyway) = not great support for hours of standing. Buy a good fatigue mat. It makes a significant difference.

Mixed review
I got the black one and I like how it looks.I think the desk platform is pretty well made, but even with the supportive collars put on the legs (and not having the legs extended all the way to the limit), there is some wobbly movement/vibration from when I type. It's something I have gotten used to, but would prefer more stability. The size is fine if one has a compact keyboard, but I have an extended Apple wired keyboard and there isn't quite enough room for the keyboard and my standard-sized mousepad, unless I orient the pad in portrait orientation (tall as opposed to wide), which doesn't provide as much free movement of the mouse.I do think it should be priced at a much lower level than it is (less than $50 would make more sense to me).I think it might also be helpful to combine this product with an anti-fatigue mat. I plan to try that next.

Poor, really poor
Poor, really poor. I am genuinely shocked at how bad this is given earlier reviews so feel I must comment for the sake of balance.Firstly, the holes in the legs and top do not line up well, so it is difficult to attach the legs. Speaks of low manufacturing standards.Secondly, once assembled - and perhaps because of the poor alignment - the top wobbles even with the nuts done very tight with pliers.Thirdly, the thing is so top heavy - nearly all of the weight is in the top piece, making for a high centre of gravity. Put a laptop on it, over to the left side as you must in order to use a mouse on the right, and it will topple over to the left with only the slightest contact on the right edge. Same problem if you put a monitor near the back edge to accommodate a keyboard at the front. The feet need to be wider spread - poorly designed and apparently untested.Fourthly, the fully extended height shown in the photo - 16.6" - is incorrect. The top surface is only 15.5" above the surface it is standing on with the legs fully extended. This is critical if you are of above average height.Above all, it's hugely over-priced. Β£130 for what is basically a rather flimsy, unstable low table? Ouch.I bought this as I needed a standing desk solution quickly. I would certainly not buy this again, nor recommend it. The only reason not to return it is the cost of doing so....

Reliable, sturdy desk.
I got the idea of a standing desk from the book desk bound and I also never feel comfortable sitting at a desk doing work. This desk was easy to set-up and is stable as hell. I can fit my monitor, as well as macbook on it. The legs are adjustable and that allowed me to position my dell monitor at eye level and position my keyboard in a comfortable position. Also it gives you more room to keep things on the desk below, such as cables, drinks, post-it notes, pens etc.Overall great purchase

Durable, easy to use and multipurpose
Great as the leg height is adjustable. When I am not using it, just take it off the table, nothing to unscrew or adjust.I like this product as it is simple and well made. It also adds to the overall space on the table. I have used it as a shelf for times when I needed added space on my counter.

A Good Desk - Would Recommend.
I felt I was spending too much of my day sitting down so decided to try a standing desk and would highly recommend this product. Delivery was prompt and it was easy to put the legs on and adjust to the correct height and I've been surprised how quickly I've become used to standing up to work - so much so that I now prefer it to sitting down. A good choice of desk and I would recommend it to others.

My back loves this!
I have only been using this standing desk for a little over a day, but it's great. My lower back feels better already and I honestly don't think it's my imagination. And of course I feel I am increasing my strength and bone density as I work! I could not be more pleased.
