Review: Best work gloves - I have worn these work gloves for years, working the in the woods and will wear nothing else. They are warm (don't bother with any other gloves), comfy, protect your hands and tactile enough for one to be able to tie a knot without taking them off. They are even warm when sodden - I wear them whitewater canoeing in very cold water and they are great, like wet suit gloves, but with abrasion protection. I have a stock pile of them in my wardrobe in case Iron Clad stop making them!

**Q: Will these protect against rose thorns, etc.?**
A: The palms will provide good protection from rose thorns.  The nylon on the back of the hand only provides minimal protection.

**Q: How to wash and dry them?**

Specific care information for the General Utilities is below. 
Please note that the washing and care instructions are indicated on the original product packaging. For extended durability and comfort, machine wash and hang dry your Ironclad gloves on a regular basis. Machine wash cool. DO NOT use bleach, machine dry or use an iron on Ironclad gloves.
Air-drying is recommended in order to keep the size consistent with its original form from time of purchase.

**Q: how are these for yard work ? like shoveling , clearing wood and bushes ?**
A: These works for me.....I wear them to work in my garden too.

**Q: Are they heat resistant?**
A: No, I do not think they are heat resistant.
