Excellent, Versatile Mount for Any Setup!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the TARION Overhead Tripod Camera Desk Mount! I’ve gone through my fair share of mounts and tripods, but this one has truly exceeded my expectations.First off, the 360° flexible articulating arm is incredibly sturdy and offers precise control over positioning. Whether you’re using it for overhead shots or adjusting the angle for a close-up, it’s easy to find the perfect setup. The 3/8'' screw and included 3/8'' to 1/4'' screw adapter make it compatible with a wide range of equipment, from DSLR cameras to projectors and even ring lights. The build quality is top-notch, with a solid, heavy-duty design that gives me confidence that it will hold my camera or light securely. The arm is also surprisingly smooth to adjust, and I love how it locks in place without any slipping or wobbling. It’s perfect for my desk setup, and I can use it for everything from streaming and filming tutorials to setting up my projector for presentations. What I especially love is the space-saving design. It mounts easily to the desk without taking up too much room, and I can quickly reposition it when needed. Whether you’re a photographer, streamer, or someone who needs a reliable tripod mount for various devices, this product is an excellent choice.Highly recommend it!

Highly recommended!
For under £50, this product is exceptionally good!Fpor me, weight has always been an indicator of quality, for most things at least anyways, and this item has some weight. It is well put together and the components are very high quality.Due to how the pivot points work it can be a little fiddly to get set up but this is a small price to pay as once in place it is exceptionally sturdy. I only use it with an iPhone but I am sure it will easy handle the weight of some big cameras due to the sturdiness of the build. Can't fault this product one bit at this price!!

Solid once set up.
There's obviously quite a big market for camera, microphone and light supports. There are also light and heavy versions of all of this lot and people have different requirements and expectations. The mixed reviews reflect this.I've tried loads of these professionally, from the big manufacturers at different price points - Manfrotto, SmallRig, Neewer etc - and this is essentially a good bit of solid kit at the price point.Basically, once you have it set up it's rigid and well made. I wanted to attach mine to a Manfrotto light table set-up to hold an LED light panel, so had to do a bit of engineering to get a solid fix onto tubular alloy at the base. On a table top it would be very quick and easy. The other thing to know, as others have flagged, is that the geared inserts (4 per joint) fall out if you slacken the joints. Tiredome. Ideally they would be 'captive' but that would involve the manufacturer a load more work and expense to pass on to end users. Re-assembling the joints is doable but fiddly, so be warned!Assuming you want this for a specific task (voicing microphone above your desk say...), once set up this would be an excellent choice. Unlike some magic arm solutions, regular adjustments will be a bit grungy and confined to one plane per joint. Don't let this out you off if you have a known requirement and plan to leave it more or less set up, as unlike some other options I've tried this is genuinely solid without whippy wobble, and can be moved into loads of positions. Things like the Manfrotto Magic Arm are smoother and more fluid to adjust but 2-3x the money and leave you with adjustments handles sticking out.I am buying a second one, so reservations accepted this should be some sort of recommendation.

Handy gadget
This is a well made little desk mount for camera equipment. I wanted something like this to mount a white flash reflector panel over and area I use for macro-photography in my home studio. This works very well for that but you have to be realistic. Although quite strong this will never be as rigid as a true tripod. Yet this one is quite strong so perfect for the function I put it too since the reflector is very lightweight. I am not sure about mounting heavy cameras on it.

Rock-Solid Mount for Heavy Gear
The TARION Overhead Tripod Desk Mount is a beast! I was skeptical at first about whether it could handle my DSLR, but it holds it like a champ. The articulating arm is smooth and gives me so much flexibility to get the perfect angle. Setting it up was easy, and the build quality is impressive—it feels super solid and reliable. If you need a mount that won’t budge, this is it. Highly recommend for anyone shooting overhead or needing stable support for heavier equipment!

A bit clunky but OK
I am currently using this arm for my camera which I mount to do food videos. The current set up in the photos are for when I am chopping and this is similar for cooking. My lens and microphone are not attached as this is the start of setting up to get the positioning right. It is s bit clunky but does the job.It is very sturdy and I would say that costwise it is not an expensive mount.

Solid Good Quality Stand
Multi position, each arm locks in place easily by turning the gear wheel at each point. The gear wheels have locking under collar so when done up match to the corresponding wheel both wheels interlink when done up, meaning each position is locked in and will not move. The clamp is of a very good qulity.Excellent stand.
