Review: Not Just for Pipes! - In general, pliers are my favorite tool, due to the tactile feedback you get from working with them. I have an entire drawer in my large toolbox, that's full of various pliers; easily over 50 pairs. I purchased the Strong hand Tools PG114V Pipe Pliers, to make into a base for a dial indicator set up, where I could clamp to irregular shapes. I tried them out this evening on the steering knuckle's vertical connection to the upper ball joint, and these pliers made a very solid attachment. The arms leading to the adjustable jaws are very strong and of adequate thickness to drill and tap for a snake-type dial indicator holder. These are a big win, and welcome addition to my pliers collection and I'm going to purchase a second, smaller set if they're available. Can't go wrong on these!!

I love these vice clamps! They held up pipe and drape with no failures. They grip and lock on to just about anything which is nice! They are strong! They are a bit clunky looking if you can’t hide them. Great purchase and worth the dollar!
