This is a 24V PASSIVE injector and provides PoE to PASSIVE PoE devices. This does not 'negotiate actively' it simply provides 24V on 2 pairs - pins 4, 5 (+) and Pins 7, 8 (-) and if your PASSIVE PoE device is expecting that same 24V on those same pins then you are good to go. THIS Device does have EXCELLENT power protection - especially for outdoor devices. **Q: will this work with UniFi 6 Lite?** A: No, it doesn't work. I bought this product and it didn't work with U6 lite.
