So the kit it comes with is so easy to set up . I decided not to go with the remote option an bought a p.i.r sensor . Which was easy to put in plug and play another reason I bought this light. So as for brightness it's great comes on full power with sensor and lights up great . The sticky back tape was a little pain at first but sorted that out. So plug and play. Can I recomend this product . The old lights were almost like hospital white lights so we wanted something warmer. In my opinion these are so warm they are pretty much yellow lights. I also bought the 4000k to compare and that is quite a white light - so bear this in mind if you’re looking for a warm LED strip.They are really bright. We have them down at 50% brightness under our counter so I’m sure they’d do really well up lighting a space or lighting up much larger areas.
