Review: Buen producto - Atuendo producto, muy funcional Review: Great glove break-in kit - I was looking for a glove break in kit for my six-year-old son’s new ball glove. I was pleasantly surprised to find that such a great brand had a well priced glove break-in kit. It’s also cool because his glove is a Rawlings brand. The instructions that came with the kit made it so easy to figure out how to use. After one use of this kit (oil application/work-in, bending + manipulation of glove, and wrapping with included band for 12 hours) - his glove was noticeably softer and easier to squeeze. The oil to break in the glove is the perfect consistency and does not leave any stains or marks. It worked very well on the leather. Getting ready to use it for a second time to further break in his glove. 10 out of 10 recommend for value, ease of use, and effectiveness. ## Features - Sport type: Softball ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0034WKNH6 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Brand | Rawlings | | Brand Name | Rawlings | | Color | White | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,283 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00745492100318 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Hand orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | Glove Break-In Kit | | Item Type Name | Glove Break-In Kit | | Item Weight | 0.2 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Rawlings Sporting Goods | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_BRKIT-TAN | | Material | Synthetic | | Material Type | Synthetic | | Model Number | BRKIT | | Model Year | 2019 | | Size | One Size | | UPC | 745492100318 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Rawlings - **Color:** WHITE - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00745492100318 - **Glove Type:** Infield - **Hand Orientation:** Ambidextrous - **Material:** Synthetic - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Size:** One Size ## Images ![Rawlings Glove Break-In Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51nTI0sRiML.jpg) ![Rawlings Glove Break-In Kit - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71GGae6946L.jpg) ![Rawlings Glove Break-In Kit - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41CBFETUXKL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what do they have inside the kit** A: It is just like the picture: there is a softball sized wiffle ball used to form the glove's shape, an elastic wrap to hold the glove together, break-in oil or solution to soften the leather and a sponge to apply the oil to the glove with. I hope this helps you! **Q: Can this be used on pigskin instead of rawhide?** A: I'm sure it can be used on any kind of leather, but it will darken it. If you have a glove with that buckskin look, you should be ready for it to darken in color quite a bit. **Q: My glove looks darker than before, will it return to the original color when it dries?** A: It will depend on the age of the glove, the amount of oil and the type of leather, but yes it could slightly darken some gloves. **Q: Will this work on a white hockey goalie glove? Will it stain or damage it?** A: It's oil, so I'd guess it would stain it if it's oil permeable. It definitely darkens a baseball glove. If the glove is not oil absorbent, the kit probably won't help. Honestly, I've never seen a hockey goalie glove up close. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buen producto *by G***A on 30 September 2024* Atuendo producto, muy funcional ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great glove break-in kit *by A***R on 17 April 2026* I was looking for a glove break in kit for my six-year-old son’s new ball glove.
