The three-DVD set was very affordable when I bought it a month ago - price has gone up well over 50% since then. I don't think I would have paid the current price for the set...and I would have missed some great entertainment. All three shows - STOMP OUT LOUD, STOMP Odyssey, and STOMP LIVE - are well-done, well-filmed, and very enjoyable. The dance is at times very free-spirited, it looks like a group of people just doing their own thing, while keeping the rhythm of the music going. Then suddenly they come together in total synchronization, and you realize again that you're looking at a tightly choreographed dance performed by very talented people who are excellent dancers and athletes, not to mention skilled mimes - there's no talking or singing in the performances, so all the emotions and communication come through body language and facial expressions. My personal favorite is the last show, STOMP LIVE. It's supposed to be comedic, and it is - with numerous laugh-out-loud moments, and audience participation that just heightens the fun. The newspapers skit near the end of the show is just priceless - I laughed until the tears ran. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great resource for the elementary music classroom *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2013* I bought this set for when I have to have a substitute in my elementary music classroom. The kids like them and they offer great conversational springboards for subs into music topics. The only warning I have is that there are a few inappropriate jokes included...so screen each DVD carefully before you leave it for a sub. (I always leave a note for the sub to skip whatever track has the inappropriate joke.) The Pulse DVD is especially good for talking about world music and world cultures. I created a worksheet full of questions for my students for Pulse. We read the question, watch the 5-minute segment, answer the question on paper, and then share our answers with each other.
