I would recommend getting yourself a stud finder for those who do not have one. Perfect for making inexpensive wall shelves, and for busy people like us living on a budget, that can make all the difference consolidating a messy space. I plan to put knick knacks on a long shelf about a foot below the ceiling. We used a couple for a shelf to put up a computer, and a gaming console. Could also be good for plants (in front of windows would be great). Would buy again!

Well built. Included screws are good quality. I’m not using it for a floating shelf. It does work well for hanging cords, etc.

The brackets work as expected, and once installed, the shelf is solid and looks great. I’m very happy with the final product. That said, mounting the brackets was a bit challenging because my plaster walls aren’t perfectly even. The uneven surface caused the brackets to sit slightly off-level at first, which created some early frustration. I ended up making small shims to get everything aligned properly. Also, as others have mentioned, the placement of the screw holes means you need to angle the screws inward slightly if you want both to hit the studs.
