This modular (mole compatible) deluxe strap pad retrofits Hazard 4(R) shoulder bags or any shoulder strap that is not padded enough or needs the ability to attach modular pouches to it. This product features very generous foam padding, tough Cardura(R) fabric top, hook-and-loop fastener-opening mounting straps that are military mole-spaced, and a high quality 3-D air-circulating aerospace material on the under-side for heat/sweat management.

A pad that would handle my bony shoulders and the abuse of the underseat torture compartments as the bag transitions with me from flight to flight. The moment I saw it, I knew this is what I was looking for. One-click order, and here it is just a day later. I put it on the bag and immediately got a confidence boost of +20. I mean, just look at those utilitarian straps and a soft underside to keep me comfortable as I lag a full laptop bag around! But the best was yet to come. The next morning as I woke up for an early flight and was making coffee, I heard a voice coming from behind me: "Put that coffee down. Coffee is for closers." The pad was talking to me! It had just the right words to say, too "put your coffee in the mug and strap it onto me, or you'll be late" - and so I listend to the sage advice and headed for the airport. At the TSA checkpoint I stared the TSA agent down in the sockets of his sould, ripped off the driver's license from the strapped on card holder and made a secret handshake. "Carry on, sir" - and on I went without any hassle. My plane arrived into Chicago late. I only had 6 minutes from farthest gate to farthest gate. "You can do it" - said the pad - and so I slung my bag onto my shoulder and ran like the wind. I've never been as comfortable running with a laptop bag! Made it in time and was about to board the next plane with a minute to spare when the pad said: "get down and give me twenty!" That's how tough it is. I'm now a top sales person of the year and a runner of the year at ORD. What more could you ask for? Buy this pad, and you won't regret it.

It was easy to install and fits nicely without the pad shifting while using it. The color is a close match and does blends well with my bag. I just used it for a day event and had about 8 lbs of stuff I was carrying around. The padding was great and I felt no discomfort from carrying the satchel around for about 5 hours. It was a very hot and muggy day and so far the padding held up nicely with no discoloration and no seams came undone. The material seems to be very durable and there’s no signs of sloppy craftsmanship. Having the extra padding and additional stability it gives to my satchel strap is a win win for me. It performed as advertised and being under $15 is very reasonable. If this one eventually falls apart, I won’t hesitate to order another one as long as the price is right.

**Q: Can you explain how this works? An existing strap feeds through this, and the loops are facing outside??**
A: The straps have velcro you place it between you and the pack straps and then velcro over the existing straps. The taps you see on top on the picture will be on top on the outside.

**Q: Will this work if I attach it to my backpack strap then put my water bladder tube through it?**
A: Hi Jazmin, if your backpack straps are within 2" width, the pads should fit fine and you can use the pads to pass through the bladder tube.

**Q: Would this shoulder pad be too loose for a 1-1/2 inch strap?**
A: I don't believe so.  I use mine on a 1.25" strap and it's perfect.

**Q: Will this fit over an existing backpack strap (about 2" wide, 1/2" thick)?**
A: Yes, easily.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, not great

The padding is adequate for at least ten pounds of weight and the overall construction is well done and as described. The mesh on the padding seems a little rough to the fingers, but seems fine on the shoulders and it does breathe. However, the edges are finished with coarse material that can be irritating to bare skin with movement unless you can adjust the straps so that they don't shift at all when on. The velcro straps work well in keeping the pad on the strap, but not well enough to prevent the pad from sliding up/down at all. Not an issue once you get it settled on your shoulder, but it is when putting it on or shifting the straps once on. Still, it does the job and should last a long time. Btw, what color is "Coyote"? A greenish khaki, not dark khaki like it appears on my screen (not important to me; just fyi).
