They look, feel, and act like real bullets other than for being inert. I tested my carrying feel and the weight helps to show me how much it is when fully armed, without having to use real ammo. The metal casings look and feel like real bullets so when loading the magazines you get the full scope of how hard or fast you will be loading with real ammo. On loading, the tactile load indicator on my pistol pops up, and when I fire them, they eject perfectly, in 50 dry firings, I've had no jams. I consider these the PERFECT item for testing your functions, and shooting procedures including when showing others what NOT to do with a firearm, without placing anyone at undo risk. One of my favorite examples of this is when ejecting, the newbie can see how far and fast they will eject, and when you pull back the slide and release it, they can feel the weight of the gun change as you chamber a round. I have and H & K compact, never had a failure to feed or eject yet/ever with real ammo. These snap caps do not feed well and have jammed several times. The finish is a little rough compared to a real round. After looking at the other brands with plastic parts, I will keep these. I think it is the finish that causes the problem. I have yet to mix them so they chamber after firing a live round.
