Perfect at home light peel, helps to improve texture and enlarge pores

Compared to a similar product by The Ordinary it works quite well. The bottle I received however did not appear to be full. The Ordinary version is only about a dollar more and I’ve always gotten a full bottle so I believe I will order that solution next time.

If you're here, you're probably looking for a dupe for The Ordinary peeling solution. That's why I tried this product! The ingredients lists are identical for both, however, we can't know the ratios of these ingredients. By sight, feel, and smell, they seem similar, but certainly not identical. My skin had become accustomed to The Ordinary, so to me, this feels like a much gentler exfoliator (if at all). It tingled a tiny bit when applying, but not like The Ordinary. This also feels harder to rinse off. It also stains my skin ever so slightly. I have Fitzpatrick type 2, almost 1, skin, so deeper skin tones may not notice that effect. And I'm certain that it's staining, not flushing, bc it did so to the palm of my hand as well.In summary, I will not be buying this product again, bc I don't get the sense that it's doing the same job The Ordinary peeling solution does. In fact, I'm not sure if it's doing much of anything (even though if the ingredients list is accurate, it will still have at least some exfoliating properties).

Purchased this thinking it would be a dupe for the Ordinary. I don't mind that the color and scent is off but it's much milder than the Ordinary peeling solution. Didn't do much at all.

Somehow I added this product to my cart instead of the brand I typically buy and have been using for years (probably because the labels are made to look just like theirs). Because the labels were so similar, I even bought a second bottle after I noticed something was “off,” thinking it was just a bad batch. Second bottle came and was just as “off” as the first bottle. The consistency is thinner, it is more prone to changing color when spreading across your skin, and, most importantly, I don’t FEEL it working at all (which, for those familiar with the other brand’s product, it has a tingling that is quite obvious during application that packs a punch). I’m mad at myself for just now realizing I bought the wrong product twice! If it had seemed to work at all, I probably would have been fine with it, but now I have two half used bottles of a product that really didn’t seem to do anything at all. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because my skin tends to not respond quickly to a product, so maybe this has results for some people, but none for me!
