No fear of a man purchasing his regular size. I purchased a pair of the Keen Men's Brixen shoes for my husband in his regular size 10 and he finds they fit well and are very comfortable. I usually order my regular size 8 in Keen Women's shoes and have not been dissappointed in the fit as with other shoes. **Q: is it lightweight ?** A: No **Q: I have a high instep. The elastic gore appears small. Will this product fit for a high instep? seek slip on low cut** A: I have a very high instep as well. The shoes fit well but I felt they needed a bit more support in the arch area. I chose to remove the liner and replace it with an orthotic support. I use Powerstep pinnacle max. They are a bit expensive but my feet are extremely happy with this combination. I have first stages of bunions starting and the combination of Brixen and the supports are really comfortable due to the design of the shoe.
