My oem stand is plastic and needs replacing.** A: The kickstand mounts on the bottom of the frame just behind the pedal axle ( bottom bracket) and little below it. You should see a bolt hole where the bolt goes and a flat spot on the bottom of the frame where it mounts. Hope that helps :-) **Q: Can't seem to find where to install this thing. i have a diamondback and i don't see any brackets or holes at the bottom. help?** A: If your bike frame does not have a mounting point built onto it, the adapter bracket at the top of the kickstand can be used to mount between the bottom rear forks on most bikes. Feel free to contact us or Lumintrail if you require more in-depth assistance. **Q: What size hex key does this take? It's larger than any I have on hand** A: This kickstand bolt takes an 8mm metric key, or a 5/16" key. **Q: How wide is the Gap where the main screw mounts to bike?** A: Hun will fit a bike with 3/8 bolt. Not very expensive save the packing so can return, worked fine on my beach bike plus height is adjustable:) ## Frequently Bought Together - Lumintrail Center Mount Bike Kickstand - Fits 24-29 Inch Bicycles - Adult Mountain, Cruiser and Road Bike Kickstand - Quick Adjust Height - Ascher Ultra Bright USB Rechargeable Bike Light Set, Powerful Bicycle Front Headlight and Back Taillight, 4 Light Modes, Easy to Install for Men Women Kids Road Mountain Cycling Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/47085347-bicycle-kickstand-rear-mount-24-28-silver](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/47085347-bicycle-kickstand-rear-mount-24-28-silver) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
