In all honesty it was simple to build.What I was appalled about was every medium sized piece of dowelling when inserted created hairline splits in the main pieces of wood, which seriously concerned me. So i ended up using some glue to rub into these areas to hopefully correct some of the weakness.The base panel is made up of two pieces of flexible wood inserted into grooves which isn't obvious. I am slightly concerned this may pop out under weight. You’re better off just looking at the picture and using common sense.
