I liked the other cheaper pair at the time (£30, good value but they broke) but once I got these Nikon ones I could immediately see the difference in quality of the materials, the engineering and the optics, and they are small and lightweight. These Nikons cost twice as much but they are easily twice as good, I'm really happy with them. I live close to the sea and use them every day to see what's going on out there and it's amazing how things look different at different times of day and in different light and weather. Fascinating. I'm also privileged to be watching seagull chicks grow up on the chimney top of a house in the neighbouring street. Also great value for money. 3 months later I bought a second pair for myself! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice and Sharp but would be better at 8X *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 April 2021* Nice quality compact binoculars, very sharp compared to my other Nikon 8x40 - which are great BTW, but these seem sharper somehow, maybe it's the lens coating?One slight issue is because they are 10X magnification you have to hold it nice and steady, I don't have this problem with my 8x Nikons.
