If legs are attached securely they are quite strong. **Q: Do these legs extend to 1 metre** A: These extend fully to 1.1 metre, so yes, the adjust is made by twisting the bottom part of the leg to suit. **Q: what material are these brushed steel legs made from? Would they be suitable for outside at summer weather?** A: I would think that the metal over time would rust in our British climate. **Q: Used four of these legs to create a table 70cm by 1.30m, sturdy at table height, but increasingly unstable as we extend to counter height.
