**Q: Hello , Can any one tell me if these are  short rise ( mea; between crouch and waistband ) need 8.5 to 9.0" ?**
A: They are not short rise but they are kind of low. I actually researched this exact question when I made my purchase and the 559 are the ones that have the greatest room in the posterior. All the others are medium.

**Q: Are these pre-shrunk or shrink-to-fit?**
A: Pre shrunk . Great fit

**Q: Are these shrink to fit?**
A: There is no shrink after washing.

**Q: stretch 501s, the Rose and Walsh, are they stretchy or i received fake ones? bought both and they don't stretch at all, feel like normal non stretch**
A: Some washes are now offered in “stretch” you can tell which are and which are not by looking at the materials used. If it lists 100% Cotton then they are NOT stretch. If it lists 99% Cotton, 1% Elastane then they are the stretch denim variant.

These Jeans are absolutely wonderful and a proper throw back to what I first started buying Levi 501's over 40 years ago. I have searched outlet stores Levi official shops and everything in between and not been able to get these, particularly at these prices. I have now bought 3 pairs and am delighted. However I have taken off a star due to the delivery. Arrived a day early (super) but when I saw the "handed to resident" on the tracker I was shocked. Two of my teenage children and myself were in the house, and I have a dog that reacts noisily to anyone ringing the doorbell or knocking on the front door. No one had rang or knocked. When I went out to check there was nothing at the front door. Checking over the side gate I discovered the package lying on the floor where it had obviously been thrown. If someone had taken them what would have happened? would I have been reimbursed? Not what I an used to from Amazon and I would like to have a response to this. Jeans are Fantastic though.
