Fast delivery of yummy jelly babies. This package was bought for a charity event and so good I have ordered a 2nd one for myself. No crystallisation, no jelly babies stuck together. Lovely taste & fresh appearance. Great texture, not hard. Good variety of different flavours & long sell by date. Highly recommend this seller ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The secret alternative to overpriced energy gels *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 December 2025* I’ve been looking for a cheaper alternative to energy gels for my gym and swimming sessions. I train about 6 hours a week, and I was constantly running out of energy halfway through. I was this close to buying a load of expensive gels until I discovered that most of them are basically just glucose syrup in a pouch. A bit of research led me to the real secret weapon: Jelly Babies.Nutritionally, they’re essentially the same fast carbs you get in energy gels - just without the marketing department and existential price tag.• 3-4 before a workout provides the same boost as a gel, minus the financial trauma.• 1-2 mid-swim stop me dying at the 1000m mark.• No sticky fingers, no wrestling with sachets like I’m trying to open a bank vault, and no mysterious gel slime living forever in my gym bag.And the taste? SO much better than gels. Instead of "medical-grade fruity sadness," you actually get something enjoyable.Of course, these are not marketed as "performance nutrition," probably because that would involve slapping a lightning bolt on the packet and tripling the price. In fairness, there are moments when gels are more practical - usually late in a race when chewing becomes a life-or-death negotiation with your lungs - but for normal training, Jelly Babies are the smarter choice. If you want performance fuel without spending a fortune, this is it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ sweet tooth *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 September 2026* Just a small indulgence for when I need a sugar hit, but I prefer the taste to the other options available over the counter ## Frequently Bought Together - Barratt Jelly Babies 3 Kg - Barratt Jelly Beans (3kg Bag) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/49032760-jelly-babies-3-kg](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/49032760-jelly-babies-3-kg) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
