Is this just as beneficial to plants that have a rhizone rather than plants that are rooted in the subtrate/gravel ?

To help plant grow, I have carbon dioxide from gas bottle injected in my tank, Easy Carbo is liquid form of carbon dioxide.

Is this safe to add with aquatic life inside the tank?

Of course it is or you would not be able to feed the plants. I have been using it for years with Profito Iput 5ml in every day in my 4ft tank and Profito once a week 10ml.

I used to buy this in 5lt but wow £80 + whay has it doubled in price 🤔☹☹☹

I buy it off e-bay but last time I purchased it the price was a lot higher than I had previously paid. Try buying it in 1 litre bottles.

Will algae start to come off the leaves when l start to use this product.

Easy Carbo, helps plant growth, to avoid algae you will have to balance your lighting assuming the algae is green and not brown. Introduce ottos, or similar algae feeding fish that should knock back algae.
