Just keep in mind the weaknesses of the form; they're not as strong as proper chains and clasps, but they're much easier to use and can be trimmed to length just by pulling them apart where you need. Helpful to have plyers or something to narrow your grip if you've got wide fingers, as they rely on your being able to press narrow metal pieces together and bend very small links.

Bought it primarily because the light in my shed had a pull string, but it was literally about 4" long and I had to really reach up to grab it. This worked perfectly, and I have a bunch extra. It's exactly what you'd expect from this kind of pull chain, the color, the look, the weight, all of it is pretty typical. It doesn't feel cheap, any cheaper than any of these naturally feel anyway. I like that it comes with extra connectors also. I'm satisfied with it.
