What I can share is that, out of the box, the compass is functional and relatively accurate. Currently clear with no bubbles. It will slip on easily and perfectly onto a majority of 22mm NATO/G10 styled straps. Any smaller and there may be a bit of play. With a bit of effort, I can squeeze this compass onto a couple of my 24mm Zulu styled straps as well. It is a closed system, so slip on versus clip on to straps. Lume is okay. But there's a lot of friction in the bearing; you have to twist it a couple of time to get things moving and when it does settle down it's hard to know whether it stopped at north or stopped because of friction. For really cheap wrist compasses I've had better luck with the "SE CCV18 1 Precision 'Watch Band Clip-On' Navigation Compass"; it's in my pocket as I write. The Suunto Clipper Compass is the best one to buy; works flawlessly every time. Keep in mind that accuracy in a compass this size is iffy at best.
