The book was all writing (which he can’t read), didn’t contain half the stuff it needed and was really confusing, so he got upset and gave up saying he hated magic not going back to the kit since! Fast forward to Christmas and I’m worried he’ll hate this kit…. Oh far from it!!! The book is super easy to follow, I read it to him as his reading isn’t that advanced, but he can follow the directions and remember what I said. When he’s a bit older he’ll be able to read too. The tricks are simple but fun for him and there’s so much stuff he can do. Also thank you for the pics in the book as what I found with the last book was it was confusing and I couldn’t look at the pics to prompt me, but this I can. We’ve been playing for hours and still have half the kit to unpack! Also all the tricks are actually in the book and don’t need to source elsewhere! They are 4 and 7 and after I have explained the tricks to them they are able to do them by themselves and have had great enjoyment putting on a magic show!
