Saved the summer
I purchased this item because we have no "traditional" windows in our living room through which to vent a portable air conditioner. The product was easy to install on our bay window, and was in place for the whole summer, allowing us to run the portable air conditioner and escape the heat. It did not provide a perfect seal due to the shape/construction of the window, but I don't blame the product for that, I blame the window! Nevertheless, even with an imperfect seal we did not experience an increased level of insects or anything inside the house. I purchased this in the summer of 2024 and now am preparing for summer 2025 so we'll see how it did in storage or if I have to buy a new one.

A quick and simple solution to tricky windows
I recently purchased a Portable AC Window Seal and I am very happy with it. It is easy to install and it keeps my home cool and comfortable. I was able to install it myself in just a few minutes. The seal creates a tight seal around the window. I have not experienced any air leaks since I installed it.The window seal is made of a durable material that is easy to cut to size. It comes with adhesive that makes it easy to adhere to the window frame. Electrical Hazard
We received this AC in April and on September 10 it took out a GFI outlet in our home (completely fried it) which included half of our lower level power. Needless to say, the AC unit is toast. Then I made the mistake of testing the AC directly in another GFI to make sure it was the AC at fault, and it immediately blew that GFI. So now we are out an AC and had to replace 2 GFI outlets at $30 each.I will never buy ANY midsized appliance through Amazon ever again. This is our 2nd home AC unit that has catastrophically failed and their sellers do not stand behind the products. This one was not even 5 months used.

Good quality and easy to install
This worked perfectly for my house with tall crank-out windows! Easy to install, plenty big enough (could have easily fit a larger window too) and plenty of velcro so if I made a mistake I had extra to use!

Works great and easy install- sometimes have to restick to window
This works great and definitely helps with my situation. I appreciate that I can still use the window even with the AC in it. It was an easy install and I find the adhesive sticky however, I do live in a city so when I am not home/ AC is not in use I remove it and crank the window shut for security reasons. This causes the product to sometimes unstick from the window. it's no big deal I just restick it but thought I would mention.

Doesn’t stick
These don’t stick well and if it’s very hot outside it’s hard to keep the gap insulated
