The Bon Ami 1886 Original Formula (04030) may be used on all types of mirror and glass (except for auto glass). It contains only two natural ingredients, Feldspar and Tallow Soap and is designed to clean glass and also helps to defog it - The 1886 Original Formula is also excellent for cleaning glass oven doors, painted woodwork and high polish metal. Kind regards, Original Clean 1886 **Q: What is the difference between this one and the original?** A: Bon Ami Powder Cleanser (gold) is vegan; ingredients are limestone, coconut and corn oil, soda ash and baking soda. The Bon Ami 1886 Original Formula (red) has only two ingredients of Feldspar and Tallow Soap and is therefore not vegan. Both are free from harsh chemicals (chlorine/perfume/dye) and are hypoallergenic; both excellent for polishing away dirt and restoring the lustre on baths, basins and also metals, ie sinks and taps. The red can also be used on glass (all except for auto glass), mirrors, painted woodwork. It is exceptionally good at cleaning away grease on glass oven doors with minimal effort, some customers also use it on their Aga. Woodwork really freshens and brightens.
