What I csn say is that it felt a light watch and was a pleasure to own. I’m looking now for a mechanical winding watch. **Q: Would this watch suit small wrists? My wrist is 2" across and 5.5"round. Don't like too small faces or too large but like style** A: The full flat measurement from end to end is 9". From clasp to nearest hole (ie minimum wrist size) is 6.2". Of course this could be shortened further by punching your own holes in current leather strap. Alternatively you could go and buy another strap when it arrives. No doubt this is a great watch to have, looks good and if you are up in the night or in the evening the illuminating backlight is a definite plus. **Q: Can the strap be replaced?** A: Yes it can. **Q: the back light on the watch - is it on all night or do you press the button to get the light** A: No it's not on all the time when it's dark. Couldn’t. There was no functioning middle position of the knob to do so. Returned it for a swap. Same problem, but at least the date was now correct on this one so I may never need to change it. Other than that, I like the watch. It is quiet, no irritating ticking, it seems to keep good time, backlighting works fine. It's a handsome and simple design, easy to read, and comfortable to wear.
