Review: A great book of inspiration. Will make you able to think of your identify and a responsibility to payback to your society. - Great book. This is a classic book and inspired me of how Dr. Ambedkar faced untouchability in his life. He was a great man of knowledge and dignity.
Review: Great book. Price is rip-off - Of course, every book written by Dr. Ambedkar is a gem. Dr. Ambedkar was the Greatest Indian of the 20th century. There was no other like him and there is no other like him. This book is still relevant as events unfolding currently in India and other nations where people are facing oppression and physical abuse in any form. I feel the price charged by the seller (eight dlrs) is a rip-off .

Book Review of Waiting for a Visa by me( sanjay kumar) Waiting for a Visa by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is a powerful autobiographical account that reveals the deep wounds of caste discrimination he faced throughout his life. Through short but striking incidents, Ambedkar shows how untouchability denied him and millions of others even the most basic human rights, like drinking water, traveling, or receiving medical care. His writing is simple yet piercing, and every page reflects both his pain and his resilience. Reading this book today, I felt the weight of his suffering not just as history but as a reality that still continues. My family and I were deeply disturbed after completing it, because the discrimination Ambedkar faced almost a century ago is something we also experience in another form. While searching for a rented house, we were directly asked about our caste, and when we revealed it, we were refused accommodation. This humiliation and rejection reminded me of Ambedkar’s own struggles, making me realize how little has changed in society. The book is not only a mirror to the past but also a reminder of the present. It makes us question why caste-based discrimination still exists and why equality, though promised, is yet to be practiced in everyday life. For me, Waiting for a Visa is not just a book—it is a painful reflection of both Ambedkar’s time and my own life today.
