It also darkens over time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product *by M***D on 8 September 2025* Good Product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What you see IS what you get! *by M***N on 15 May 2020* After receiving this item and reading previous reviews, I was anxious to see what this tin would hold in store for me... As you can see by the photos, the liquid in the tin was in fact grey like another review mentioned and before mixing had some oil sat on the top. However after giving this a good mix up, the oil seemed to disappear and I was left with a nice smooth mix of varnish. I applied a thin layer to a piece of whitewood with a lint free rag and as you can see from the photo, it gives its a nice "medium oak" finish... You can always apply more layers if you require a darker finish. This is very quick drying and not a problem for a smaller project however I think if you were covering a larger area, you could find yourself layering up without noticing. A little goes a long way so this tin is great value for money!
