Put on 'Breezin'Or something more vegan-oriented? Still put on 'Breezin'Christmastime? Better put on 'Breezin'You know when the operator tells you they'll have to put you on hold, and then that smooth jazz kicks in and you think to yourself, I can actually get behind this...but as you click out of the call to Shazam it the party you have been trying to reach actually picks up and you fear during the whole conversation that follows that you may never experience the magic of that musical moment again? Well, you're in luck. George Benson wrote 'Breezin' for you to hold on to that feeling forever. Thank you George Benson. Thank you.

    Could have been better but i'll take it

This was one of the most superb pop jazz releases of the seventies. Mr.Benson came into his own after many years releasing excellent albums following the footsteps of Wes Montgomery. The production by Tommy LePuma is stellar and make one of the best sounding records of that or any other era. This was the demo recording I used to show off my hi-fi. This hybrid multichannel cd does not necessarily improve on the original LP's fidelity but is an enjoyable aural experience nonetheless. It doesn't sound like they were able to secure the original master for this edition. Still the multichannel aspect is appealing as all channels are used to great effectiveness. Recommended with the noted comment on the overall sound.

Great album, one of my all-time favorite jazz albums; this one got me listening to something other than the rock I was familiar with. You need to get a new copy, because there’s many quiet parts that will be ruined by pops/clicks/scratches or dirty used albums. Sound quality is OK, kinda subdued in tone; I’d say “smooth” and “chill”.
