If you've set up finger unlock on mobile devices over last few years, its a similar experience. The app was a quick install and is clean and functional. Pairing the device and adding my first fingerprint took a few minutes. I can't help but wonder if any reviews that mention setting it up, bluetooth etc are also from folks that would have issue with pairing any bluetooth device like my dad. All in all, easy to setup, charges quick, and unlocks super fast and is very accurate. Have not had an issue recognizing my fingerprint and unlocks almost instantaneously as you touch it.

I've had this lock for about a month now. Overall, I think it's a good product and well suited to my needs, which is a light-duty lock for my gym locker.A couple of finicky things I've observed, for which I downgraded the rating by one star...(1) The fingerprint pad is super-sensitive, meaning if your finger isn't perfectly clean and dry, it will not read. On a couple of occasions, my finger was totally dry, but I had previously used some hand sanitizer. Even only that prevented a positive read. I had to re-wipe my finger with a towel for it to work. (2) As a result of #1, on a couple of occasions I triggered the "lock out" for multiple failed attempts, which was very annoying. Fortunately, in both instances, I was still wearing my Apple Watch and could unlock it that way. However, had it happened while all my clothing/items were in the locker (while I was showering), I would've been stuck. Because of these two issues, if you get this lock, I recommend you set the maximum unlock failures to the maximum value so, when the fingerprint reader is being finicky, you don't trigger the lock-out right away.In addition, this is, in my opinion, very much a "light duty" lock. I wouldn't put it on anything for which you were really concerned about security. Nor would I use it outside. I can only imagine, given the finicky fingerprint reader i describe above, if it was outside and it was raining, you might never be able to open the lock (without a phone or watch).Otherwise, now that I'm used to how this works and its quirks, I'm happy with the product.

Similar to other reviews, absolutely did not work at all according to any feature. Pairing worked once and then absolutely no Bluetooth connectivity after that. Finger print setup did not work at all. Couldn’t delete lock from the app because could not establish Bluetooth connection a second time (to a phone with working Bluetooth and multiple connected devices all working fine). Using any feature tripped some cryptic error codes all which essentially said “try again”. UI absolutely sucks. User manual useless for troubleshooting. Total waste of my time and money.

I think it works great. I just received it today and tested it like 50 times with my finger and it didn't fail once. It is also the perfect size for my tool bag. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. People are saying that it is glitchy but it worked perfectly with my Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Easy to open with app and small to carry around

I wanted to get a smart padlock for the gym but didn’t want to compromise on security and was hesitant initially.I saw a someone using this lock at the gym and decided to buy it. Oh boy was I surprised.1. Looks and feels solid and premium: The body is made of aluminium as advertised, not cheap plastic or pot metal like some digital locks. It feels sturdy. The shackle is made of hardened steel. Of course this isn’t locking up a vault but the specs say that the cut force is 1300 lbf. I think it’ll work fine for locking up my stuff at the gym. The shackle is thicker than many of the other locks I see at the gym.2. App is very convenient! They don’t ask for much information and you can add a shortcut to Siri to use with your Apple Watch! Good to have if your fingers are wet at the gym. I love that I can manage 10 fingerprints and also create virtual app keys if needed. Cheaper locks don’t have an app support, so this is definitely a premium feature.3. Fingerprint sensor is large and works 360 degrees as advertised. Doesn’t work if your fingers are super wet though. I use my apple watch shortcuts for that in case I’m at the gym. Overall no issues with it, always works in a single scan.4. USB-C! OMG it’s super easy to charge, only takes 1 hour I’ve used it for a week and battery has dipped by 3%, so it should last the 6 months hopefully! If the battery dies, I can just jumpstart it!5. I love that the logo lights up, not a tiny LED light. It really stands out in the gym and a few people have asked me what brand the lock is!10/10 recommend!
