Review: So what is accurate? - This is my third or forth go at buying one of these things, so I thought I would go for the bigger names in healthcare as some of the other Chinese made no name things were a bit haphazard, but I am still not sure how accurate it is. It is on par with the hospital ones (I spent 5 days in) but not my Dr's one. I am a normal 93/94 in hospital and at home, but my Dr has a NHS one and he gets 98 or 99 ? So I think this one is pretty close to being right as opposed to my Dr having 98/99 when I have not had that amount of oxygen for 20 plus years. So yes it is ok and quite accurate and worth the money. But who REALLY knows !!!!! Review: Quality product - Another quality product from Beurer. Premium price and the company website saying 'German engineering' is what is fooling people. I was going to buy when I thought it was German, but now won't. **Q: This looks exactly like the contec d1 cms50d1 and the sanitas pulseoximeters. can anyone confirm if they are the same model inside as well?** A: Hi, I am very sorry but this is not something that i can confirm unfortunately with regards to the Contect device. As for the Sanitas this is by Beurer so I can advise that this is the same just a cheaper brand. Kind regards Beurer UK **Q: Is it suitable for child (2 years old) use?** A: Although there are more appropriate oximeters for children, I've tested it to my 3yr old nephew and it worked i.e. it gave a measurement. Cannot be sure of course if this affects it's measurement reliability.
