Review: Nice clock - too bright for a dark bedroom - This clock has some features I really like. It has large digits which are easy to read even without corrective lenses. It is easy to set the time (very intuitive interface). It can be powered from a USB port, which means I can use the clock in my RV when running on battery power (this was the main reason I purchased). Also, the display will dim when it is darker in the room. The sales page states: "... low brightness for total darkness, ensures not to interfere with your sleep". Unfortunately, I found it much too bright when in a dark room (like a bedroom) trying to sleep. The display was so bright, it cast shadows on the wall and I could see it even with my eyes closed! To work around this brightness issue, I just purchased LED Light Blocking Stickers (https://www.desertcart.com/dp/B0BD97M122). I had to trim one edge and used a hole punch to cut out a hole for the light sensor on the face of the clock. Once this was applied, the brightness was brought down enough that it now works fine in a darkened room. This causes the daylight brightness to be a bit dim however. I wish there were a way to adjust the brightness of the dim setting, so you can leave the daylight brightness alone and just make the nighttime brightness a lot dimmer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice clock - too bright for a dark bedroom

This clock has some features I really like. It has large digits which are easy to read even without corrective lenses. It is easy to set the time (very intuitive interface). ### ⭐⭐⭐ The numbers keep disappearing and I don't know why

almost everything about this clock is really good except for one important thing. I love the size of the numbers. It's good that one can set the colors to be steady on four different selections. Or you can select colors that rotate. I like that you can use an electrical plug or you can use the USB. Even the 24-hour versus the 12-hour selection is good. What I don't like, and haven't been able to figure out yet, is why the numbers keep shutting off and coming back on and shutting off and coming back on. I haven't had a chance to really work with it to see if it's just a quirk or if it ts something solvable. Meanwhile, it does let us know what time it is!
