It's surface area isn't quite big enough to nicely key a face by itself but it'll work in a pinch. I actually end up using this on my desk a lot to bounce off of my office wall and pretty my mug up for zoom calls. When reflecting off of the wall it still has enough output to key nicely. It's a good simple light. My only complaint is with the included case. While I'm glad to have been given one it clearly wasn't given much thought in it's design. For one, it's padded by an ugly white styrofoam cutout that looks pretty cheap/unprofessional when you open it up. And the 2nd thing, for whatever reason that foam is configured in a way that only provides padding for the back side of the light, not the panel side where you'd want it more. I don't think the panel itself is all that fragile but they could have easily laid things out differently in a way to give the panel a little added protection; don't stack things on this case. Review: Great lighting for makeup - These lights have been really helpful for my makeup work. They were easy to install and give me much better lighting when I’m doing makeup, especially when I need to see the details clearly. I like that they don’t take up much space and make a noticeable difference compared to the lighting I was using before. Setup was pretty simple, and they’ve been working great so far. Definitely a useful addition to my makeup setup. ## Features - Wide Application The 14.8"×10.5" large LED video light panel provides continuous and flicker-free soft light for videos and photo shoots. 1 inch / 25mm thickness, it is ideal for portraits, baby photography, YouTube and TikTok videos, photo studio lighting, live streaming and Zoom meetings - 2.4G Remote Control: The 2.4G remote control features 4 groups (A/B/C/ABC) and 40 channels (1-40) to allow you to operate multiple lights simultaneously without even moving a muscle. - Bi-color & Dimmable - Customize light effects by adjusting brightness and color temperature via two buttons on the back. The LCD display allows you to see the parameters clearly. High luminance (1400 lux at 1 meter) and CRI (97+) ensure that all your shots are perfectly illuminated and have excellent color reproduction. - TWO POWER OPTIONS - Powered by an AC power adapter (included) or two NP-F550 / NP-F970 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (NOT included) - Package Contents NL-288ARC LED Panel Light, 2.4G Remote Control, AC Adapter, Mounting Bracket, Carrying Bag, User Manual ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08D6HMGTR | | Audio Recording | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #267,409 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #531 in Continuous Output Lighting | | Box Contents | NL-288ARC LED light panel, 2.4G remote control, AC adapter, mounting bracket, carrying bag, user manual | | Brand | NEEWER | | Brand Name | NEEWER | | Compatible Devices | Devices with 2.4G frequency receiver within 20m range | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 332 Reviews | | Exposure Control Type | Manual | | File Format | 2.4G | | Flash Modes Description | Constant lighting with adjustable brightness and color temperature | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00191073067714 | | Hardware Interface | Unknown | | Has Self-Timer | No | | Importer Contact Information | Shop The World B112 Virwani Industrial estate Western Express Highway Goregaon east Mumbai 400063 Email care@shoptheworld.in www.shoptheworld.in WhatsApp no +919820168421 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Indoor/Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 37.6L x 26.7W x 2.5H Centimeters | | Item Highlight | CRI97+, Dimmable, Bicolor 18" Soft Light Panel, for Photography YouTube Live Stream Game Zoom Meeting (Battery Not Included) | | Manufacturer | NEEWER | | Manufacturer Part Number | 10097707 | | Media Type | Image, Video | | Model Name | NL-288ARC | | Model Number | NL-288ARC without Tripod | | Model Series | NL288 | | Network Connectivity Technology | USB | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Packer Contact Information | Shop The World B112 Virwani Industrial estate Western Express Highway Goregaon east Mumbai 400063 Email care@shoptheworld.in www.shoptheworld.in WhatsApp no +919820168421 | | Product Dimensions | 37.6L x 26.7W x 2.5H Centimeters | | Screen Size Unit of Measure | 14.8 Inches | | Shooting Modes | brightness adjustment, color temperature adjustment | | UPC | 191073067714 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Video Capture Format | MP4 | | Viewfinder Type | LCD Display | | Warranty Description | 1 year manufacturer | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** NEEWER - **Connectivity Technology:** USB - **Hardware Interface:** Unknown - **Has Self-Timer:** No - **Water Resistance Level:** Not Water Resistant ## Images ![NL288 LED Video Light with 2.4G Remote Control K-5600K - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71JYjC8HgzL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the run time at 100% from a pair of fully charged NPF-970 batteries?** A: This light supposedly has a power consumption of 45 watts at 15 volts. This equals 3 amps. The NFL 970 batteries have a 6300 M AH capacity each. Using 2 batteries that equates to 12.6 AH (Amperes - Hours) Therefore 12.6 AH divided by 3 Amps is 4.2 hours. This is a theoretical maximum. I would reduce this by half because of many factors that affect battery capacity. As a licensed Electrical Engineer my estimate is 2 hours max. For additional buffer I'd recommend a 1 to 1.5 hour assumption. **Q: Which is the compatible soft box?** A: I have never seen a softbox for this panel. I have only seen softboxes for the smaller panels, and the final "big end" is about the same dimensions as this panel. From my experience with lighting, these panels work best when kept close to the subject because they are not as bright as big AC powered fluorescent lights. The light drops off pretty fast when they are backed away from a subject for a wide shot. **Q: If connected to a switched wall outlet, could the light turn on with the wall switch, or would it need to be manually powered on every time?** A: Just test: As long as it's on the right mode (power switch on the light clicked to the right), it remembers its last setting. That is, if you turn it off with your remote before you turn off your switch, it will not power on. If it was on when you turned the switch off, it will turn back on with the switch. Hope that makes sense! **Q: Hello, it works with voltage 220?** A: The specifications showing on the Neewer website state that the AC adapter works on 110-240V, 50-60Hz., and draws 1.6A. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good. *by J***H on 10 January 2024* I haven't used the light a lot but it's so far seemingly good for it's size/cost.
