Clover Moon mainly grabbed my attention because we both have something in common, we use our imaginations to escape life. The book is also set in Victorian London which is a time in history that fascinates me immensely. There is a theme of abuse in this story, which back then was common, however this is my warning. If you are sensitive to things such a child abuse, or are feeling pretty sensitive to things at the moment, you may want to give it a miss. The start of the book is quite sad. That being said, I'm going to have to agree with some of the other reviewers on this. This is the best book JW has written in years, and is a must read. She is a sharp kid and the trouble she goes through is heart wrenching but it works out in the end.
