Review: Very bad quality - I ordered it recently, two days after, literally half of the bulb doesn’t work any more, and the literally melted from the inside!
Review: Not solar. Great looking. Just the right lighting - I bought a set of these to go under the eaves of my patio. They are very nice looking and easy to set up. They do require an outlet to connect them but I installed a timer to it for automatic on and off during the daylight hours. I love them.

**Q: are these more white or amber?**
A: I'd say more amber.  They give off a soft, warm glow not a bright one.

**Q: Do most of you think these really need a dimmer? Mine will be 45 feet away on a fence, not right up on my patio.**
A: No, they should be perfect that far away.  We have ours in a tree and sit about twenty feet away and they give a nice amount of light but are not to bright to look at.
