works, did what I needed to do when sniffing an automotive canbus system. If you're doing this more than once, get a better system that does onboard logging and bells and whistles like multi can inputs, but I only needed this for a specific thing and this did the trick and for the right price.

Great functionality and physical design, easy upgrades
This was just what I needed for CAN BUS project. Mine came already loaded with the Candlelight firmware but I also tested it with the standard firmware that makes this device appear as just another serial port.You can upgrade/downgrade/change the firmware for it quickly while online at canable.io with the chrome browser. I have found that my Windows 11, Z690 machine doesn't seem to like these DFU devices and it takes forever to write them. If it takes more than about a minute, try a different machine and/or Windows 10.

No recognized device
It will allow you to update the firmware through the canable.io site; however, the device is not recognized outside of bootloader mode by windows 10 nor windows 11 and none of the recommended software sees it either. In bootloader mode it will show as an STM device
